To commemorate holy month of Saka Dawa the school holds three day Kagyur reading.

Inter House BasketBall Tournament

The school Basketball tournament was held on month of March. The final match was played on 29th of March 2023.

The Inter House Cultural Nite was held on 27th May in school Loter Hall.

Menstrual Hygiene talk

The school guidance and counsellelor organized a talk on Menstrual Hygiene for the girl on 29th May right after the school Morning Assembly.

GRADUATION DAY (29thMarch to 30thMarch, 2019)


On the eve of 29th March a dinner party was organized for the XIth outgoing batch of Grade X. The school auditorium was filled with the students of class 10 (2018) for the farewell dinner party with the staff members. It was arranged by the new class ten (2019) by decorating the hall beautifully, by serving tea, snacks, foods and by entertaining them with songs, dances and with short and beautiful video clips which were captured in their tenure in the school. The outgoing students and the staff cherished those moments. It was a day for the outgoing students to share their emotions, sadness, happiness, pride, anxiety and excitements. They had both the feeling of happiness and sadness, Happy for the first step they are going to take in their life and sad that they are leaving the school.
The next day, they had their Graduation Day at Loter Hall. The guest of the occasion was one of the school alumni Dr. Kunchok Dorjee La. He presented a scarf for each and every outgoing students as a gesture to congratulate them. He provided a brief speech on how grateful the students should feel for getting these kind of opportunities to be in the school and he wished every one of them success and hoping to see them in the same school. The Graduation Day was one of the most memorable day for the XIth outgoing batch of T.C.V. Chauntra and the moment was captured in photos by clicking pictures of them with the Chief Guest and their subject teachers.

TCV CHAUNTRA GRADUATION DAYThe day before the graduation there was a dinner party to the outgoing students. Pink and yellow and white chart filled with beautiful messages, brightly colored flower, delicious aroma of food and the cheerful faces of the present class X students welcomed the overly excited outgoing students and congratulated them on reaching the miles. The evening was overwhelming as there was dance, food, snacks and the lights of camera flashing every now and then.

We can tell without doubt that the students felt special and loved on that evening.

The final day has come for the students to say good bye. A very special day in the life of a student “ GRADUATION DAY” was celebrated on 29th march, 2018 in school Loter hall. The day when every emotions; sadness, happiness, prides, anxiety and excitement hustle bustle on the way. Sadness for having to depart with the closet thing they had for home, happiness for having passed the first step towards life, anxiety of not knowing what is waiting and then excitement for the new challenges in life.

But the day came and in the school hall everyone was gathered to congratulate and wish the outgoing students’ every success in their life. It was made more special with the presence of our chief guest Mr. Choenying Dhondup la, the general secretary of TCV School.

Our MC for the day Mr. Sonam Choephel la began the programme requesting everyone to start the Morning Prayer followed by principal’s heart-warming speech. Next we had scarf ceremony where every outgoing students were presented with scarf as a congratulatory gesture.

Then guest for the day gave a brief speech on how grateful the students should feel for getting this opportunity to be in the school and he wished every one of them success and hoping to see them in the same school.
