The Inter club football tournament in TCV School Chauntra is
held every year in the month of August. It is a pride and prestigious moment
for every Chauntrians because no other schools have such large number of
football clubs as we have. Like every year this year also we had around 56
clubs or teams to participate in this tournament. The tournament was mainly supervised
by the Games Committee of the school and the main responsibilities were taken
by the Students’ Council.
The tournament started on 2 August 2017 with the opening
match played between Jampa Ling FC and Amay Karing FC and it closed on 30
August 2017 with the final match between Jampa Ling FC and Dhangma United
FC. The other matches were played one
after the other and everyone got equal chance to participate and show case
their talents in playing football in the tournament.
